Got the price, now negotiating.
The price list went out automatically. The question "Any discount if I buy in bulk?" lands in your inbox; you make the offer.
Inbox · Instagram DM
LiveThe automation sends the first reply; you answer the specific questions. The moment you write from the dashboard, that person gets no automated messages for 30 minutes, so customers are never caught between a bot and a human.
Example: a customer replies "price?" to your story, and the automation sends the price list as a DM with a button. The customer asks "Any space on Saturday at 3 PM?"; you reply from the dashboard. At that moment, the automation goes quiet for this person for 30 minutes.
How it works · 4 steps
The automation sends the first DM to a comment or story reply. If the customer asks a question by DM, it lands in your inbox. You answer, and the automation steps back for that person.
DMs sent to your Instagram, story replies and the automation's messages all sit in the same conversation. The inbox refreshes itself every few seconds. Conversations waiting for your reply are flagged.
When the word shows up in a comment or story reply, a DM with a button goes out within seconds. In the conversation it carries an "Automation" tag, so it's always clear who wrote what.
If the customer asks "Any space on Saturday at 3 PM?", the automation doesn't guess; the question is yours. Open the conversation and write from the dashboard. Enter sends, Shift+Enter adds a new line.
The moment you write from the dashboard, any unfinished automated steps for that person (a follow-up reminder, for example) are cancelled. No new automated DM goes out for 30 minutes. Write again and the timer restarts; when it runs out, the automation switches back on by itself.
30 minutes · restarts with every manual reply
Live scene · 5 steps
On the left, the customer's Instagram; on the right, your dashboard. Messages go back and forth; when you write and send from the dashboard, the automation goes quiet and leaves that person alone for 30 minutes. When the time is up, it switches back on by itself.
The automation goes quiet with this person for 30 minutes. Even if they comment "price" on one of your posts again in that time, no automated DM goes out; when the time is up, it switches back on by itself.
Examples
The idea is simple: the automation hands out ready information, and you answer the questions that need a decision. Three common situations, and where you step in.
The price list went out automatically. The question "Any discount if I buy in bulk?" lands in your inbox; you make the offer.
The booking link went out automatically. You answer "Does 3 PM tomorrow work?" from the dashboard; the automation stays out of it.
Someone who sends a short "dur", "stop" or "iptal" never gets another automated message, and can't be messaged from the dashboard either.
Team and agency

Agency example · Agency planPicture an agency managing client accounts. Each client has their own workspace (up to 10 client workspaces): their own Instagram account, their own automations, their own inbox. One client's conversations never show up on another's screen. You switch between them with the switcher at the top of the dashboard.

The inbox opens and locks according to Meta's messaging rules. The rules are Meta's; VoltraChat works in line with them.
You can write for 24 hours after the person's last message. When the time runs out, the reply box locks; it opens again when they write back.
Someone who sends a short "dur", "stop" or "iptal" never gets another automated message, and can't be messaged from the dashboard either.
The moment you reply from the dashboard, any unfinished automated steps for that person are cancelled, and no new automated message goes out for 30 minutes.
Your manual replies go through the same sending line the automation uses. In the logs they show up as "Manual reply".

FAQ

No. The automation sends the first DM to a comment or story reply. It doesn't answer questions that come in by DM on its own; those questions land in your inbox, and you answer them. The one exception is keywords: when someone sends a word you choose (e.g. “price”) by DM, the single reply you wrote goes out automatically. You can also put up to 4 ready-made questions in the DM menu. That's still not a chat; not every DM gets a reply, and if the word doesn't match, you answer as usual. If you have the AI connection, it can read your DMs and prepare a reply draft; the draft never goes out on its own, you're the one who sends it.
To be sure it goes quiet, reply from the VoltraChat inbox. We can't always detect replies written in Instagram's own app; in that case, the automation may not go quiet.
The automation switches back on for that person by itself; you don't need to do anything. Every time you write, the timer restarts. Automated steps that were cut short (a follow-up reminder, for example) don't come back.
That's Instagram's rule: a business can write for 24 hours after the person's last message. When the time runs out, the dashboard locks the reply box. When the person writes again, the window reopens. The rule is Meta's; VoltraChat works in line with it.
Yes. 3 people on Growth and 10 on Agency share the same inbox, and you count as one of them. You invite teammates from the dashboard; the inbox shows who wrote each reply.
Yes, that's what the Agency plan is for: a separate workspace for each client (up to 10), 10 Instagram accounts and a 10-person team. One client's conversations never show up on another's screen. Extra accounts are 329 TL/month. See pricing
