Insights · Instagram numbers in your VoltraChat dashboard
Soon · early accessReach, views, engagement, followers; results post by post. The numbers Instagram provides sit in the same dashboard where you run your automations. No separate app to open just to see what's working.
Example screen, coming soon: in the last 7 days your posts were viewed 12,480 times, reached 6,310 accounts, 640 accounts engaged, and your profile link was tapped 96 times.
Why here?
A post's numbers sit beside the automation you set up on it and its DM logs; one dashboard, no switching apps.
3 Instagram accounts in Growth, 10 in Agency, in one dashboard. Insights show the numbers of the account you pick in the account switcher at the top of the dashboard.
The Claude connection will be able to read account and post numbers; it only reads, it changes nothing.
What's here, what's next
We describe the numbers in three stages. One works today in every plan. One is ready and waiting for Meta's approval. One is planned. Each is clearly labelled.
Every message your automation sends is logged: when, what type, whether it went out, and if not, why. The Today screen shows how many DMs went out in the last 24 hours and the last hour.
Your account's and posts' numbers: the screen this page describes. Open on test accounts first; it opens to everyone after Meta's review.
One line from comment to link tap: how many people commented, how many got a DM, how many tapped; a table per automation. Planned; we're not promising a date.
How it works · 4 steps
You grant the insights permission on your Instagram account once. Then you pick a period, look at the summary and drill down into any post. If Instagram doesn't provide something, the screen tells you that too.
You reconnect from Settings → Instagram and approve the insights line on Instagram's permission screen. The permissions you granted are listed on the "Permissions" row in the dashboard.
Followers, views, reach, accounts engaged; likes, comments, shares, saves; follows and unfollows. All for the period you pick, on one screen.
Pick a post or reel from the list, or one of today's stories. That content's own numbers open up. Reels also show average watch time. From there you open it on Instagram.
Instagram doesn't provide some metrics for every account. The missing ones are listed on a single line at the bottom of the screen; no estimate takes their place. Numbers are cached for 15 minutes. If you don't want to wait, tap "Refresh from Instagram".

Scroll: the daily reach line draws itself, the post bars rise, and the most-viewed post steps out of the grid. Change the period: tap 7, 14 or 28 days and the summary and line follow. The numbers are examples; the real screen shows what Instagram provides.

The common thread: decide with Instagram's own numbers, not guesses. Three frequent questions, and where to look in the dashboard.

Set the period to 7 days: how many times your profile link was tapped, how many people followed and how many unfollowed, side by side.
Age, gender, city and the hours your followers are online. Instagram shows this above 100 followers, as far as it provides it.
Settings

Trust
We don't produce numbers; we show what Instagram provides. What it doesn't provide, we say so plainly. The insights screen changes nothing on your account.
You approve Meta's official insights permission on Instagram's own screen. The permission you granted is shown in the dashboard.
The insights screen doesn't post, delete or change anything. It only reads numbers from Instagram.
A metric Instagram doesn't provide stays empty and is listed at the bottom of the screen. No estimate takes its place.
Details like age and city arrive in groups and never show who is who. Under 100 followers Instagram doesn't provide them at all.
Open on test accounts first; it opens to everyone after Meta's review. We're not promising a date.

You can. The Today screen shows how many automatic DMs went out in the last 24 hours and the last hour, along with the limit. Logs list every message your automation sent: when it went out, its type and, if it didn't go out, why.
The numbers come from the same place: Instagram itself. The difference is that they're in the dashboard where you run your automations, so you don't switch between two apps. We don't calculate or change the numbers.
