Automation for a new post
After you post, you get the rule set up without opening the dashboard; it waits for your approval before it runs.
MANAGE WITH AI · CLAUDE
Live · Growth and Agency Works today; you connect it yourself from the dashboard. For when you have no time to open the dashboard. Say what you want in a plain sentence: Claude finds your post, sets up the rule as a draft and leaves going live to you. It follows the same rules as the dashboard; it can't delete anything or touch the sending rules.
What you need
Example scene: the business owner writes to Claude, "send the menu link by DM to anyone who comments menu on my latest post". Claude reads the posts and builds the draft automation in the dashboard piece by piece: post, keyword, button. Then it asks, "shall I make it live?" When the owner says "yes", the automation's status in the dashboard turns green: "Live".
How it works · 4 steps
Claude connects to VoltraChat with a key that belongs to you. After that, the things you'd click through in the dashboard, you simply ask it to do in writing: same rule, same checks.
You set it up on the AI connection screen in the dashboard: on claude.ai you add VoltraChat as a custom connector and approve it with your login; for Claude Code or Claude Desktop you create the key yourself on the same screen. The key is a private password that lets Claude into your VoltraChat account and nothing else. You choose how much it can do: read only, set up and edit automations, or prepare posts as well (on test accounts for now).
You add VoltraChat to Claude as a custom connector; the key is that connection's password. We do the setup together with you.
Claude first reads your Instagram posts, finds the right one and sets up the rule as a draft. A draft doesn't run on its own.
Send the bean list to anyone who comments “beans” on yesterday's reel.
Posts read
Draft created
Found yesterday's reel. Keyword “beans”, button “See the beans”. The draft is ready.
Claude asks before going live; the rule doesn't run until you say “yes”. It sits in the dashboard, in the same list as the rules you set up yourself, and you can change it there anytime.
Shall I make it live?
Yes.
Now live
What it does · 10 tools
In VoltraChat, Claude can do these 10 things and nothing else. If it asks for something that isn't on the list, the connection won't allow it. If you gave it read-only access, it can't use the four tools under “Make changes” either.
Changes nothing, only looks.
The same things you do in the dashboard, with the same checks.
There's no tool for these; it can't do them even if it wanted to.
Examples
The small jobs every business has. All of them run on the 10 tools above; any numbers Claude gives you come from your own account's logs.
After you post, you get the rule set up without opening the dashboard; it waits for your approval before it runs.
One question tells you which rules are working; the numbers come from your own logs.
You stop several rules with one sentence; none of them gets deleted.
When a code, link or button label changes, you don't rebuild the rule; the text goes through the same check as in the dashboard.
You ask about the connection and today's sending without opening the dashboard.
If the new post isn't in the list yet, Claude refreshes from Instagram first; it never guesses which post you mean.
Control
You decide how much access Claude gets and for how long. You manage keys and connected apps yourself in the dashboard: create them, choose how long they last, revoke them.
Three ready-made levels: read only · set up, edit, pause automations · plus preparing posts (on test accounts for now).
You choose how long: 30 days to 1 year, 90 days recommended. Once it expires, Claude can't connect.
Revoke the key or a connected app from the dashboard whenever you like; the next request is refused.
With the access levels you grant from the dashboard, Claude only sets up drafts; you take them live with one click in the dashboard. Claude can't change a rule that's already live either.
If too many change requests arrive in a short time, the connection turns the extra ones away.
A rule Claude sets up sits in your dashboard list; you change it or turn it off from there.
Trust
Claude can misunderstand a request. That's why a rule starts as a draft, you take it live yourself, and you see everything in the dashboard. You have the final say.
Go-live gatetry it
You approved, and Claude wants to make the rule live. If any of these is true, the gate stays shut:
Now live. All three are clear and you approved; the rule starts running.
The connection runs on a key that belongs to you. It expires, and a revoked key never works again.
There's no delete tool. The most Claude can do to a rule is pause it.
There's no tool for sending speed, limits, your plan or your pace setting; You're in control rules are always on.
The same text check, the same character limits. A message the dashboard won't save won't be saved through Claude either, and Claude is told why.
Your Instagram login details and DM contents are never sent to Claude. The key only sees your own account.

A rule is first created as a draft and doesn't run until you approve it. Claude can't delete anything or touch the sending rules. You pause a wrong rule from the dashboard or by telling Claude.
On the AI connection screen in the dashboard. No key is needed on claude.ai: you add VoltraChat as a custom connector and approve it with your login. For Claude Code and Claude Desktop you create a key on the same screen; it's shown only once.
Three things: a VoltraChat Growth or Agency plan, a Claude account that can add custom connectors, and the connection you set up in the dashboard. Once connected, you get things done by writing to Claude.
It works with Claude; we tested it with Claude. The connection uses an open standard called MCP (Model Context Protocol): a common way for AI apps to connect safely to other services. In Claude this is called a “custom connector”.
No. From the delivery log it sees which automation sent a DM and when. DM contents and your Instagram login details never reach it.
The result is the same rule with the same checks. The difference: you write instead of clicking, and you can get several things done in one sentence, e.g. “pause the campaign rules”.
