People asking the price
Whoever writes “price?” gets the list by DM. With flexible matching, “PRICES” and “what's the price” count too; no more typing “check your DMs” under every comment.
COMMENT → DM · INSTAGRAM AUTO DM
LiveFor the same question asked again and again under your posts. Pick the word once. Whoever comments “price” gets your link or a message with a button by DM within seconds; a short public reply can go under the comment too. Sending stays within the limits Meta sets; if Instagram says “slow down”, it slows down.
Example scene: comments on a post pass through the “price” rule one by one. “price?”, “PRICES please” and “Price pls” match the rule: a DM with a button linking to the price list goes out, and once the DM is sent a short public reply is posted under the comment. “love this 😍” and “do you ship?” don't match; no DM goes out and no reply is posted.
How it works · 5 steps
You do the first three steps in the dashboard; they take a few minutes. VoltraChat does the last two: it reads the comment, checks the rule, sends the message and logs every step.
All posts and reels, or only the posts you pick. Find a post by searching its caption or pasting its link.
A rule can hold several words. Flexible matching also catches spellings like “PRICE!!”, “prices” and “Price pls”. Or skip the words and run it on every comment.
You write the public reply (optional), the DM text and the button. Add a few different lines and they rotate, so the same line never goes out twice in a row. A live preview sits right next to what you type.
A new rule sends the link in the first message. You can switch to button delivery: a message with a button goes first, and the link arrives once the person taps it, so you can see who tapped. Instagram allows one private message per comment; a second message needs that tap.
Every public reply, DM and link is logged. If a DM didn't go out because the speed limit was full, the reason is written right next to it. If the customer replies, the conversation lands in your inbox.
Use cases
Whatever your industry, the same requests repeat under your posts. Each one needs just a word, a message and a button. These are examples; you choose the word and the text.
Whoever writes “price?” gets the list by DM. With flexible matching, “PRICES” and “what's the price” count too; no more typing “check your DMs” under every comment.
Say “comment DISCOUNT” in your post. Everyone who does gets the code by DM; when the campaign ends, pause the rule with one click.
Instead of “check the link in our bio”, send the catalog straight to their DMs. The link opens with a single tap.
Whoever writes “appointment” gets your booking link. If they reply in the DM, the conversation lands in your inbox and you take it from there.
Get the file you made to everyone who asks, without sending it one by one. Your dashboard shows who asked and when.
Tie a rule to a single post. If a general rule also covers that post, the post-specific one runs.
Settings and control
A new rule starts with flexible matching and a direct link; for most jobs that's all you need. Everything else is changed inside the rule. Rules are saved as drafts, run once you switch them on, and can be paused anytime.
All posts and reels, or only the ones you pick. If two rules match on the same post, the post-specific one runs.
Up to 20 words per rule. Choose “All comments” and words are ignored: every comment triggers it.
Exact: the word must appear as written. Flexible: “DISCOUNT??”, “discounts” and “Discount pls” all count; capitals, word endings and punctuation don't get in the way.
An on/off switch in exact mode: “catalg” still triggers “catalog”. It's off for words shorter than four letters, to avoid false matches.
Optional. Write a few lines and they rotate. The public reply is posted only when the DM actually goes out, so you never say “sent” without sending.
Write the first DM in up to 30 different ways; they rotate, and recently used ones don't repeat right away. Up to 80 characters each.
A new rule starts direct: the link goes in the first message, the shortest path. Choose button delivery and the button goes first, the link arrives on tap, and you see the tap in the log.
Turn it on and the link only goes to people who follow you. When you turn it on, the dashboard spells out Instagram's rule on this; one click removes it across all rules.
Before saving, it catches phrases that don't follow Meta's rules (income promises, “check your DMs” and the like). If some wording doesn't follow the rules, the rule isn't saved.
Try it yourself
Type a word and a comment. You'll see right away whether each matching mode catches that comment. It's the same rule the dashboard uses, running in your browser.
The word appears in the comment as written.
A different word ending was tolerated (words of four letters or more).
Note: flexible matching won't catch a missing letter (“discont”); exact mode's typo tolerance will. Try both and pick what fits your post.
Trust and rules
These rules come ready and are on in every plan: sending stays within the limits Meta sets, and texts are checked against Instagram's rules when you save. You're in control
Through Meta's official API, by Instagram's rules: whoever comments gets one private message. For the link to arrive in a second message, the person has to tap the button.
When the person taps the button, a 24-hour conversation window opens. If the window has closed, no automated message is sent.
There's no daily limit; from day one, on every plan, up to 675 automated DMs an hour go out to comments, below Instagram's limit of 750 private replies an hour. A link sent when someone taps the button doesn't count toward it. Once the limit is reached, new comments get no DM, and the dashboard shows why. Why
The same automation runs for the same person once every 24 hours; at most 3 automated flows start for one person in 24 hours, and at most 10 in 7 days. At most 2 automated DMs go out per hour; a link the person asked for isn't held back by this limit.
You see who got what in your dashboard; pause an automation anytime with one click, and it sends no DMs until you turn it back on.
If the person writes “dur”, “stop” or “iptal” in the DM, they get no more automated messages, and they can't be messaged manually from the dashboard either. When you reply manually from the dashboard inbox, any unfinished flow with that person stops and no new automated message starts for 30 minutes.

No. The same automation runs for the same person once every 24 hours, and at most 2 automated DMs go out per hour. Anything beyond that is skipped, and the reason shows in your dashboard.
The public reply is optional. Leave it empty and only the DM goes out. If you do write one, it's posted only when the DM actually goes out, so you never look like you said “sent you a DM” without sending it.
The link doesn't go out: Instagram allows one private message per comment, and a second message needs the person's tap. With direct delivery, which is how a new rule starts, the link already goes in the first message.
Yes, within the natural speed limit: there's no daily limit, and from day one up to 675 automated DMs an hour go out to comments, below Instagram's limit of 750 an hour. Once it's reached, new comments get no DM; your dashboard shows who was skipped and why. The limit keeps sending at a natural pace: You're in control.
Instagram sometimes doesn't report a comment right away. VoltraChat also scans your posts every 2 minutes, finds the missed comment and queues it.
The conversation lands in your dashboard inbox, and you reply manually from there. When you do, any unfinished flow with that person stops and no new automated message starts for 30 minutes, so the automation never cuts into your conversation.
Yes. You see the comments on your posts in the dashboard; you hide, reply to or delete them one by one, and you can turn off comments on a post if you like. If you turn on auto-hide, new comments that contain your banned words or a link are hidden automatically.
